Make It Monday #64: Using Color Inspiration ~ Day 2

OK! I made it to day two! That is good, right? I have 2 cards because I cannot decide which I like best! Please tell me which one you like. At first I thought the twine was too much but when I took it off it looked to plain to me. What do you think?
So, this challenge uses the colors listed above. I DID not use the rule of three. too much two days in a row. I spent 2 1/2 hours at Sam's getting Graduation party invitations printed. Made my head just about EXPLODE! BUT..... Colin, you know that precious Senior, is in Salt Lake at the DECA Conference. DECA is an an international marketing organization for High School & College. Colin and his friend Alex made the finals!  WooHoo! We will know later how he placed, but I AM SO PROUD!
OK, sorry about that! A little detour! The card is my usual 4 1/4x5 1/2 white card stock side fold. The panel is berry Sorbet stamped with Background Basics: Chevron Stripes Stamp Set in Fine Linen ink the Mat is Mega Mat Stack 4 using Hawaiian Shores card stock. I used Willow stamps and dies to make the tree with simply Chartreuse card stock & VersaMark ink, the trunk is Fine Linen. Christmas Label die was used to cut Aqua Mist card stock and the Willow stamp was inked with Hawaiian Shores.
PLEASE let me know which one you like. I will copy this card, again!
Thank you for looking at my blog!

  1. A very different take on the challenge! Love that chevron tone on tone background to set it all off!

  2. Hmmm! Hard to say which one I like best. I was just about to put Willow on my wish list. Now you have convinced me! Very lovely card.

We are praying for our Colin. What a kid!

  3. You are so creative, If I had a design team, I would definitely ask you to be on it! Pretty!!!

  4. I think I like it better WITH the twine, no wait...either way, it's a bold and beautiful card! Congrats to Colin. :)
