Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a Cover Plate Die stencil.

I LOVE using embossing paste.
I just don't love waiting for it to dry!

I also have another annoying tendency...

I like to use cover plates that are more intricate.
I am not as skilled as I could be and end up with "leakage" under my stencil.
Oh well, it is still a pretty card, even with a few shadows!

I really love the Peony cover plate.
I just got it with my February order.

Update on February release order

Yesterday I posted some hastily made item's
I updated the jar topper and made some more cards

The topper looks better. I narrowed the path, added Make it Market sequins, and pulled the trees in closer to the center.
The trim Is Webster's Pages mini bloomers.
PTI ribbon.

WOW Betsy! You did it again!

This card was Laura Basson inspired.
It needs an update...

I love this one. Enclosed Flower + some Friendly Flower cuts and Swoosh.
The middle flower is polka dot vellum. Pretty, right?
For those of you who thought Swoosh was too small, and you know who you are... Do you still???

This one is Ashley's! Man I LOVE this card!
Her design on this one was AMAZING!!!

The Smile tag on a  bag!!!

PTI 8th Anniversary Day 8

Create a new project that features a blue ombre effect.

Ombre is not my forte!!! Ha Ha! Didn't mean to be a poet, but...
It didn't photograph well at all.
It is not as blotchy in real life!

I do however, love to use Bloom Builder #3
It is a great flower. It takes some time to make the flower and it is a bit bulky, so I don't use it a lot.

The flower is the best part of my ombre!

PTI 8th Anniversary Day 7

Create a new project that features nothing but metallics and neutrals.

So, I made a card just like this yesterday!
As I was getting ready to write up my post, after photographing and editing the picture of the card, I noticed it was not legal!
I had indeed used "Heavy Metals" but not neutrals!
Mine used, ahem, Berry Sorbet!

So... a re-do!

This card uses shimmer paper of both gold and silver I found at Michael's
It is really pretty

PTI 8th Anniversary Day 5

Create a new project that uses a stamp set from your collection that hasn't seen ink!

This card was made with the December freebie, Pretty Petals.
I hadn't used it, so I thought I would ink it up!

PTI 8th Anniversary Day 4

Create a new project that features a bouquet created with more than one floral stamp set.

On this card I used 2 of my favorite floral sets, Rosie Posie and Friendly Flowers.
I also stamped them in my favorite color palate, staring Berry Sorbet!

The leaves are from Leave it Be! I love that one, too!

8th Anniversary Day 3

Create a new project that includes a handmade tag with a matching gift bag.

I LOVED this challenge! I LOVE making tags. Little pieces of art that are finished in no time!
It warms my little ADD heart!

Of course mine HAD to be Berry Sorbet and Friendly Flowers!
Also, I LOVE, LOVE the shape of Tag Sale #8. Probably my fave!

I LOVE a good challenge! Especially when there is $80 gift certificate on the line... My list is getting LONG!!!
(Lots of LOVES, but it is Valentines week ;))

8th Anniversary Day 2

Create a new project that is inspired by one of Maile Belles' creations.

This challenge was hard for me. Not because the card I made was technically hard. It is not!
It is because there is a LOT, I mean a LOT of white space. That is my vision of Maile.
Her card:

LOTS of white space. I did pop the second layer of Ruby Rose.

For those of you who readily embrace white space... Kudos to you!!!

8th Anniversary Day 1

I am finally getting started on my challenge cards.
I LOVE Inspiration cards. These were, as usual, great!

I chose Dawn's inspiration card (shocking, I know!)
I LOVE Songbirds and I am in need of Thinking of you, so...

I would really like to improve my photography skills. I have been noticing a lot of the design team lay cards flat in their pictures. I had a bit of trouble, due to the way I have my light box configured, but I thought I'd give it a try...

Not so sure!

Anyway, I am hoping get a couple made tomorrow so I can get caught up.
