MAKE IT MONDAY #330: REPEATING THE GREETING

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include repeated sentiments like Lizzie shared in the video.

A great technique that I haven't done in a long time!
Always good to re-visit ones that have been long neglected.

Orchid Expressions and a Keep it Simple Get well stamp.
And I finally used Lizzie's Pierced Feature Frames Die.
Its going to get a lot of use around here.

I have been pretty good lately not making all my cards Berry Sorbet...
Had to bust it out for this one...I LOVE Berry Sorbet!

JULY 2018 BLOG HOP INSPIRATION

I do not have any of the Salt Air stamps but I do have Fence Line:Summer!
It is my HAPPY PLACE!!!
I LOVE the ocean. Not scuba diving...I cannot wear the mask. I get claustrophobic...
But I do love wading and watching the waves hit the shore...
LOVE it!
I could watch for hours.

Fence line reminds me so much of a trip we took out to Long Island, NY.
Driving through the swanky homes in The Hamptons or out on Montauk.

Betsy did an AMAZING job with this set!
I have already made dozens of cards...

Masculine cards are a breeze but works well for feminine cards, too!
The cards practically make themselves once you get the components stamped...

Looking forward to my next beach trip!

MAKE IT MONDAY #329: CREATING STENCILS FROM DIE CUTS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include using a stencil that you created from a die cut like Melissa shared in the video.

LOVED this technique. I decided to wait till my box came to finish my card.
I could not wait to get my box this month. GOOD STUFF!!!

Getting on the Love-to-Layer bandwagon is fun!
I put my Mix and Mat stenciled panel over a Scallop Stackers panel.
Layers are fun.

I put two Orchid Expressions sprays end to end and made a corner swag.
It is so pretty!

I was careful when I used my die cut as a stencil, keeping the ink off the edges so I was able to use it for a second card.

This time using the orchid pot!

Good bang for my buck here!!!

Great, fun technique!
I do love all of my purchases this month, too!!!

MAKE IT MONDAY #328: CREATING SHADOW BACKGROUNDS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include a shadow background like the one Laurie shared in the video.

I always struggle with challenges that benefit from line images meant for coloring.
I do not buy those stamps. I do not color!

I used Better Together. I bought it for the sentiments, not the flowers. I do not even know if it came with dies. I cut the flowers by hand...not my strength...

I also stamped the images on colored card stock...cheater!!!
The sentiment is from Perfect Pairings.

MAKE IT MONDAY #327: OMBRE WATERCOLOR BACKGROUNDS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include an ombre watercolor background like Betsy shared in the video.

FUN challenge. I am not the best ink blender. I find it hard to make it even. This is easy and forgiving just like Betsy said.
I LOVE that!

The inks areTropical Teal, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist.
I used the fun leaf cluster from Floral Sketches. I love those stamps.

I only used the solid cluster and the outline. It was really all it needed.

Like Betsy, I am going to make a few panels in several color combos!

The sentiment is from Penned Elegance. It is heat embossed to add that extra texture and dimension.

Thank you Betsy! FUN technique.
