SEPTEMBER 2016 BLOG HOP

Blog-hop-logo

Blog Hop

I got a late start on this challenge.  This has been my norm of late...
I am gearing up to make my Christmas merchandise, treat containers, bottle tags, gift card holders, gift tags and bags, hot cocoa folders...
LOTS of all of these things...

So, this is what I came up with.
Literal Susan! That is me!
But in my defense, Peaceful Pinecones is one of my all-time favorites.
I love, love, love it.

Thank you for looking at my blog!

Make It Monday #261

Masculine-still

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and florals on a masculine project.

I absolutely LOVE Autumn Adornments!
When I decided to use it for my floral, it really made me wish we had a die.

I don't make very many single layer cards...
Why should I? Hallmark does...

Anyway, this one is single layer, but I love the Autumn spray...a LOT!

Thank you for looking at my blog!

CREATE ALONG WITH US: SEPTEMBER 2016

DSC_7830.1

I finally got around to making a card for the Create Along With Us.

We have had a rough summer at the Beauchaine household.
Out sweet Springer Spaniel Abby who turned 14 in July got really sick. She was sick most of the summer, much worse than we realized. Anyway last week we had to put her to sleep...It broke our hearts...we loved that dog SO MUCH. She was amazing!

So...life goes on. We know what worse is...we have been there, too.

I LOVE Dawns idea of cutting off the top of the Basic bookmarks and flipping them.
I did discover you cannot just use the part you cut off...you need another top!

Dawns new set New Every Morning is such a great set.
It has some great scriptures and other encouraging phrases.

I used Spring Woods because, well, why not?

One of the Modern Stencil's and clear embossing paste made the background panel.
I just love that stuff...great subtle texture.
