Make It Monday #64: Using Color Inspiration

I LOVE this challenge.  I LOVE the colors.  But, boy.... it was a LOT harder than I thought it would be! First of all I have all of the colors in card stock but I don't have Canyon Clay ink! I need to order that! Second it was a LOT of color to work with when you are trying to follow Nichole's "rule of three". WAAAAAY harder than I thought it would be. 5 colors, so you need at LEAST 15 color elements! I COMPLETELY ripped off Nichole's card, totally! I had a crazy day, and I want to do a card every day this week and keep up with the color challenges, so I CHEATED! BTW, I got the proofs of Colin's Senior Pictures! Can I tell you he is the cutest 2012 Senior, maybe the cutest senior, ever (don't tell Josh or Brandon!) Anyway, my time was off, so..... I copied Nichole's card.  I used Rosie Posie background on the mat and mat Stack 5, the Sunflower mini set & dies, Turning a New Leaf die, oval Limitless Layers, and Dawns Signature Greetings.
My intention is to be back tomorrow with a new color challenge! Fingers crossed!
Thank you for looking at my blog!

  2. Lovely card Susan! I think it works, even when each color isn't in even amounts. BTW, it doesn't look like a rip off!!

  4. Hahaha, it doesn't look like a rip off of Nichole's card! I agree, rule of 3 is VERY hard to follow... and probably impossible if the card is CAS.

Can't wait to see Colin's pics and I am quite sure he is the MOST adorable senior! No doubt in MY mind. No prejudice, just fact!
