Butterfly card

This card is one I copied from Dawn McVey.  It was on the front cover of July Stamping Magazine, here .  I thought is was a BEAUTIFUL card!  But, as you probably know, I think all of Dawn's cards are beautiful!  It is also a simple card.  The card is 4 1/4x5 1/2.  I used some old white cardstock I had that has colored sprinkles all over it.  I cannot remember what is is called or if they still make it.  It has a 4" white doily adhered to the front.  The doilies are easily found at Hobby Lobby or Michael's.  The top one more mimics Dawn's.  I took PTI Happy Spots paper in 5 colors and used PTI Love Lives Here butterfly die to cut it.  They were all mounted on pop dots and staggered up the left side of the card.  PTI Double Ended Banner was used to cut white cardstock.  It was stamped with a sentiment and adhered with pop dots to the bottom right side of the card.  That is it!  Easy peasy!  The 2 bottom cards were for my Cricut/card class, so I used the Cricut to cut the paper. This paper is also some I have had in my stash for a long time.  I happened to have 5 colors of the same style.  I used Cricket cartridge ~ Paisley ~ Umbrella page 48, Button key ~ cut at 1”.  I used Ranger Liquid Pearls, White Opal, to form 3 pearls down the center of the butterfly.  Otherwise the steps are the same.  Dawn used the coordinating stamp for the die from Love Lives Here.  That is the main difference, besides the fact she is AWESOME and gets published most every month!
It is a super simple, but very pretty card!
Thank you for looking at my blog!
