American Crafts Rose Ribbon

Remember the Mothers Day cards with the pretty pink rose ribbon.  Well, here is another version of the ribbon.  I took white American Crafts Rose Ribbon and lightly misted it with Glimmer Mist.  I was looking to make it barely creamy.  It took the dye really well and is so pretty!  The card is 5x7 white cardstock.
The 2 papers are cut at 4 3/4x4 1/4 & 4 3/4x 2 1/4.  A creamy vellum was used to cut 2 PTI Signature butterflies and 1 Love Lives Here butterfly.  I took PTI Delightful Dahlia stamp & stamped the butterflies with Vintage Cream ink.  To me, it resembles feathers.  The butterflies were stacked and adhered together.  A strip of Michael's Recollections rhinestones was adhered to the center. The papers were adhered to the card front and the dyed ribbon was placed on the seam.  The butterfly was added with pop dots just above the ribbon.  The second one is the same size & paper cuts.  I had a roll of creamy organza ribbon I got at Target in the Christmas area on clearance for 90% off.  I just wrapped it around the panel before I adhered it to the card, and tied it in a bow.  I thought it might be too wide but it works perfectly.  A similar butterfly stack was added with pop dots.  A Hero Arts Happy Birthday was stamped in Vintage Cream ink.  They have totally different looks but they are both soft and feminine.
Thank you for looking at my blog!
