I love the color of the paper on this card, but I wonder if it is a little more feminine that the others? Yes? No? Anyway there was a sheet of this awesome Chevron in the kit. I used my PTI Chevron die and cut a white strip to go over the seam. I "Dove-tailed" the sentiment box by using my square punch. It works pretty well if you are a little patient with it ;) The sentiment is inked in Simply Chartreuse. That is it! SUPER simple. Oh, the chevron along the bottom of the sentiment is the piece that cuts when you butt the 2 dies next to each other! A BONUS cut!
This card uses the blue chevron paper and the denim paper from the kit. I used my Spiral Notebook Page die and cut a piece of Basic Grey "notebook" paper. I inked the edges in Enchanted Evening. The sentiment is stamped in Enchanted Evening on a cream Christmas Label die cut. A star punch was used to cut the denim paper. I popped it up. Another SUPER simple card!
I got the SWEETEST email from one of Colin's friends thanking me for the card I sent him! That just ROCKED my day :) That is one of the reasons we do this ~ right?

ReplyDeleteAnyway, just becasue it is Colin, I think he might prefer the blue. Love both cards, though even though chartreuse is not my fave, the card is striking.
