Repurposed paper cards ;)

I think the last post is a hard one to follow.  I LOVE those cards.  I love the paper, the embellishments and the general layout of the cards.  I LOVE the idea that I got 3 cards from a 6x6 piece of paper, but... the show must go on!
These cards are based on paper that I salvaged from the Recipe boxes I recover for card boxes.  I get my boxes at Michael's.  I haven't seen any for a while, I hope I can still get them.  I have posted these boxes before, HERE .  Some of the boxes are bigger, a little more expensive and have recipe dividers in them.  They are a nice, heavy, glossy cardstock, so I saved them.  I told you before, my kids say I am cheap, I say I am frugal!  I cut the dividers into 3 3/4x 2" strips, and rounded all of the edges with my Corner Chomper.  The card base is 4 1/4x5 1/2 white cardstock.  Coordinating cardstock was cut into 4 1/4x 5 3/8 pieces and the patterned strips were adhered.  I took Snug Hug seam binding and dyed it with Mustard Seed, greenish-yellow Glimmer Mist, an orange I mixed with red & yellow dye, and the brown is a combination of all 3 brown Tim Holtz Distress Stains.  A long length was tied around the center of the panel and tied into a bow, 3 times.  A coordination button was tied around the bow with button twine.  I took PTI Jar Label, cut white cardstock, punched a tiny hole in the upper-left corner, stamped it and added it to the button.  I put a pop dot under the tag so it would stay in place.  I made stick pins with corsage pins and beads.
Super-Dooper simple.  Any scraps will work with this design.  I LOVE the big, fluffy bow made with seam binding!  LOVE it!
Thank you for looking at my blog!
