MAKE IT MONDAY #283: WATERCOLOR WASH BACKGROUNDS

Biggest Blessing (detail) by Laurie Schmidlin

-Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a watercolor wash background.

This actually was really fast.
I used the line images from Floral Sketches...

I only have the basic set of Zig Water color markers, so that is what I used.

I am pretty sure my little water colored floral image is from Stamp-A-Faire last year.
That amazing technique Melissa had us do...I have to make some more of those cards this summer...
Anyway, it was in my envelope of die cuts and it matched, so why not!!!

I thought all the extra water was going to be a problem, but it wasn't...
SO much faster than individual coloring...

Thank you for looking at my blog!
Susan

  8. Gorgeous color wash and coordinating flower, Susan! No wonder you made it really fast. Having the beautiful flower ready was a win-win. Did you totally wet your watercolor paper and then brush on strokes using your Zigs? I need more practice with those, too!
