MAKE IT MONDAY #282: STENCILED WATERCOLOR BACKGROUNDS

Watercolor-stencil-still1

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a stenciled watercolor background.

I didn't want to use the same stencil as Betsy...but I should have.
Her's certainly turned out better... beside the fact she is a more amazing card maker...

I also used a Woodblock Prints Stencil. I used the smaller, repetitive one. It looks Damask'y to me...
Wasn't a perfect choice...maybe too symmetrical?

Maybe I should have used just one color? But I was looking for a similar look to Betsy's...

I used 2 smaller dies from  Flower Mandalas 1 die.  LOVE that die so much.
It has been used...NON-STOP!

I think I do better ink blending but knowing you can water color is a great option...

  2. This is terrific!! Love your background! I find some of the stenciled BG's a bit overwhelming, but yours is just right. You're making me think twice about those flower mandala dies! I *thought* I could live without them...
