Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a stenciled watercolor background.
I didn't want to use the same stencil as Betsy...but I should have.
Her's certainly turned out better... beside the fact she is a more amazing card maker...
I also used a Woodblock Prints Stencil. I used the smaller, repetitive one. It looks Damask'y to me...
Wasn't a perfect choice...maybe too symmetrical?
Maybe I should have used just one color? But I was looking for a similar look to Betsy's...
I used 2 smaller dies from Flower Mandalas 1 die. LOVE that die so much.
It has been used...NON-STOP!
I think I do better ink blending but knowing you can water color is a great option...
Love the Mandala flower, it holds such a striking pose on your beautiful bg.
ReplyDeleteThis is terrific!! Love your background! I find some of the stenciled BG's a bit overwhelming, but yours is just right. You're making me think twice about those flower mandala dies! I *thought* I could live without them...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, love your colour combo and the mandala flower just finishes it all of beautifully <3
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card. I love the mandalas, too!
ReplyDeleteLove your card!! Great use of multiple colors for the background!!
ReplyDeleteOh, Susan, this is fabulous! Your watercolored background looks great, and those flower mandalas just might have to get added to my list.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are always so lovely. I better start inking up my flower set. I hope you don't mind if I case some to give to my aunt. She loves to give out cards to her friends. Thank you for the inspiration!
