AUGUST 2016 BLOG HOP

I have still been super busy and I didn't have time to make my card ahead of time...

Here is what I managed this afternoon...


I used Woodblock Prints Stencil and Lovely Lady ink.
I went a bit pinker than the photo...


Tulip Time stems gave me the look of the paintbrushes.
I did those in Gray...pretty un-classical for me!


I did want to work the creamy tan in, so I sponged a bit of Fine linen ink and I cut my Amazing word from Dawn's It's the Thought die from Fine Linen paper.

Not a bad interpretation for me...not totally literal! YAY!!!

  5. Susan, you did stretch your interpretation a bit but I love your results. I usually take them quite literally myself so I can relate. Beautiful tulips with your Woodblock Prints background!
