MAKE IT MONDAY #323: CASCADING DIE CUTS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include the cascading die cuts technique.

Is it ok to love your own card? I LOVE this card. I used Dawns Leave it Be.
It is one of my all-time favorites.

I haven't used it in quite a while. It is back on the table, literally!!!

This will be one I make a pile of.

Also, the combination of Hawaiian Shores and Limeade Ice is a match made in heaven!!!
They go together like...peas and carrots!!! ;)

I was thrilled to see this technique.  The slight offset of the die in the negative space and the gentle curve is SO pleasing!!!
This card is my happy place!!!

MAY 2018 BLOG HOP

That trailer is so cute. Love the black and white check and all the green, too!

I used a cluster from Seasonal Borders Spring.
I tried several floral's but they were all to big. This one was sized right.

MAKE IT MONDAY #322: ABOVE & BELOW

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and highlight a sentiment with the above and below technique.

Still loving Warm Regards!
So I thought I would use it for my card.

I thought it worked very well.
It is a pretty floral.

I sell so many sympathy cards. I sell everyone I make, so I try and make more that I think I need.
People want to have them on hand. No one wants to have to go and buy one when you need it. We all need them...

I tend to cluster my stamping on the bottom of the card. I have been trying to break that habit.
This is a good way to get out of that mode!

Great tip Lizzie. Thank you

MAKE IT MONDAY THROWBACK: MASKING SENTIMENTS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include masking sentiments.

I LOVE Make it Mondays!!!
Really love them!
I love it when we revisit them.

I get in a rut and forget about techniques.
This one is a goodie. Thank you Ashley, for reviving it!

I haven't used Beautiful Berries:Spring for a while!
It needed an appearance.

This one is a bit tricky for me to stamp when I don't use the die, but it is still such a pretty stamp!

Sequins also needed to get out of the jar! They add such texture...

I made 10 of this one. Maybe my fall sale wont be as daunting if I can keep this up all summer!

MAKE IT MONDAY #321: INK BLENDING ON COLORED CARDSTOCK

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include ink blending on colored cardstock

I LOVE this technique! I am not the greatest ink blender but this was pretty forgiving. Small spaces and you are looking for color saturation.

I wanted to use our new Weathervane card stock. I have wanted a gray for so long!!!
I also remembered Fresh Bouquet had an outline image...

My love of sprays convinced me to use it.
I actually think this is faster than stamping.
There are a lot of stamps for this image so it takes time to ink them all up and stamp them.
Its pretty fast to ink blend...

I made 10 of this one! So glad I am getting slightly ahead of my stock.
