MAKE IT MONDAY #279: CURVED SENTIMENTS

AshleyCannonNewell_MakeItMonday-CurvedSentiments_PapertreyInk_2

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a curved sentiment.

So I chose a large sentiment...a Think Big Favorites.
I tried a smaller sentiment but my card needed a big one.
The sentiment got totally lost...
So, I curved it, I REALLY did...but is doesn't show up that much...

It is indeed curved and it looks much better with the floral medallion, Flower Mandalas.
Oh boy...I LOVE that die set. Thank you Kay. I make SO many cards...a LOT of cards...
I LOVE big, bold stamps and embellishments...

I made this one purple to put a smile on my sister Pat's *Hi Pat* face!!!
She loves purple. She is...Purple Girl!

I need to curve sentiments more often. It is visually pleasing to have a curved sentiment with a round embellishment.

Thank you for looking at my blog!

  1. Absolutely beautiful. And I'm sure it has nothing to do with it being purple! Well, maybe it does! Love this card.

  6. Oh my, Susan, your card definitely stood out in the thumbnails, and I immediately thought of your Sis. Awesome design and I know you made Kay proud with this beauty of her new dies. They're on my list and just bumped them up. Thanks for all your sweet comments!

  7. Beautiful! I'm glad your sister sent me to your blog to see this card. I now know that I need to line the die pieces up and not try to stagger them! I also love that you used a stencil as the background. I haven't figured that out yet!

  8. This is a great card. A steaming bowl of soup is always comforting. Great color and use of white space.
