MAKE IT MONDAY #250: MASKED BACKGROUNDS

IMG_3167

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a masked background.

FUN!!!
I LOVE Laurie's inked background.
I LOVE the ombre look...

But as she was wrapping up her video she suggested using a stencil.
She might have said, in addition to...not sure...
but I took it and ran...
I used one of Papertrey's Modern Background Stencils.
Blue inks. Enchanted Evening, Blueberry Sky, Spring Rain.

Did you read Ted's post?
He said he tore a corner lifting the tape after inking...yeah, me too!
See that pretty little sequin in the bottom left corner...yep...camouflage!

And I just cannot stop using Spring Woods!
I LOVE it so much.

Thank you for looking at my blog!
Susan

  2. Very cute card. Love the stencil and the bird.. I too tore the card as I lifted the tape but mine was too much for a sequin so I did it over.. oops.. well at least I'm not alone.

  4. So pretty, Suze! I never have any cardmaking accidents, so I hardly ever have to use sequins :)

  5. the stencil gives your card a striking background-I'm sure no one will notice the sequin cover up.

  6. Susan, this is just lovely with the Ombre stenciled background. I think I "need" Spring Woods. Helps to stick your tape to your hand/arm a couple times first to remove some of the stickiness...works for me, but sequins are perfect for covering up little blemishes.
