October 2013 Blog Hop ~ Tag 3

October-Blog-Hop

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

Shaker Tags! I had a BLAST making these. First of all Lizzie's Tag Sale #8 make it so easy and foolproof!
I have wanted to make a shaker card/tag for a long time I just never did it! I'll be making more!
I'll post my Christmas ones but I wanted to do some fall ones as well. I used Autumn Abundance Patterned Paper. I really love that pack.
I just ordered  Autumn Acorns Stamp Set and dies and wish I had gotten them sooner. What a GREAT set.
I used the stamps on the background piece and made an acorn for an embellishment!
Super coarse glitter, some gold glitter and a few gold sequins fill the tag.

FUN!!!

October 2013 Blog Hop ~ Tag 2

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

I LOVE this tag. I really love the new Tag Sale #8. I wasn't sure I needed it but I love the style and the ease of making shaker tags (later posts)
I just got Peaceful Pinecones this summer and it has become one of my favorites. It is so pretty!
I used Pinefeather ink. My New Leaf is still the old formulation and I have noticed I am getting mottled stamping so I do need to replace that pad. I still used it but not all of my images are a crisp as I would like!

The little pinecone image is from Peaceful Pinecones.

October Blog Hop ~ Tag 9

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

Did you see Heather Nichols Halloween Tag post?

I LOVE her little tags. So, I did what most self respecting stampers do ~ I copied it! But, I used it for Christmas tags! How awesome are tags made with the Notched Star Banner Die? AWESOME, right???

The Merry and Bright image got a lot of use for my tags. It is just a pretty stamp.
You cannot see it very well but I do have button twine on the green ones and bakers twine on the red ones. It is just neatly threaded on the back, under the oval image.

Whew! 9 tag sets! I have been working on them since I got my order this month. I loved this challenge. I really did make something out of my comfort zone. but, no longer! I am a Shaker Tag making fool, now!!!

Thank you for looking at my blog!

October Blog Hop ~ Tag 8

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

These tags almost make me squeal with delight. I all my stamping years I never made a shaker anything. I just never have done it. I will be doing it a lot, now! Tag Sale #6!!!
Pure Poppy pattern pack was used for the top piece. I used the Awesome Star image from 2013 Holiday tag set. I had a bag of little plastic beads my sister Pat, *Hi Pat*, gave me to use for filler. They are a bit to big, they kind of get stuck but I like the look. I used red glass glitter and some red sequins!

CUTE!!!

I really did have fun making these tags. I actually had fun making all of my tags!

Thank you for looking at my blog!

October Blog Hop ~ Tag 7

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this set of tags! Again Tag Sale #6 makes AWESOME tags! The paper is from Pure Poppy pattern pack. It is the inside from making my Christmas Shaker (next post)
The joy is from One Liners die set. I just trimmed it out, covered it with glue and glittered it! SO PRETTY!!!
The adorable holly is the medium cut from Holly Jolly die set. I used Rouge Liquid Pearls for the berries.

Seriously, how cute is this tag? the To/From is from the 2013 holiday tag set.

October Blog Hop ~ Tag 6

More Fancy Flakes. This time I used the large one solo with a 2013 tag image in the center. I don't show a picture of it but I adhered a white Limitless Layers: 2 1/4" Oval cut on the back to give it a finished look and for a place to write on. The lighting is really bad on this set. The red isn't as dark as it shows.

After I adhered the oval image I glittered the snow flake/ I think you can see it!
These are really pretty!

October Blog Hop ~ Tag #5

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

One of my faves! Because I LOVE Damask Snowflake and the Pinecone image from the 2013 Holiday tag set!
I mentioned in another post I am having trouble with my New Leaf ink pad. I should have replaced it but you don't notice the problem until you stamp images that are more solid  . I used it anyway!
Makes a pretty tag, right?

October Blog Hop ~ Tag #4

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags

I LOVE Dawn's Damask Snowflake. Last year and again this year I have made literally HUNDREDS of stacked, glittered snowflakes, embellishing them with various images. The new Fancy Flakes are quickly catching up with the Damask set. The thing I appreciate most is the size.
The 2 smaller sizes can be accents for other projects. That is so nice.

These Spring Rain tags are made with Tag Sale #8, Fancy Flakes and the Menorah Medley Mini Stamp Set.
I used the small frame from Fabulous Frames Die set. I love how the edges are slightly rounded rather then just a strip I had cut.

Thank you for looking at my blog!

October Blog Hop ~ Tag 1

This month we thought we would challenge you to get a head start and create a quick set of five gift tags.

First I want to say ALL of my "group" shots are kind of lousy. I have been BUSY making things to sell for at least 3 sale events that taking pictures and blogging have been low priority.

Here is a shot of the 5 tags. I used Dawn's new 2013 Holiday Tags Stamp Set. AWESOME set.

The tag I chose to showcase is one of my favorites of the set. I actually love them all but we all have favorites, right?

This set will be a nice one. I actually made 10 tags for the set.

Halloween...

Is just around the corner!
I have started making my Treat/Favor's. I typically sell a lot of these for almost any occasion.

The first 3 are Pillow Boxes. So cute. The Spider Web and spider are a Cricut cut. I literally  had to wipe the dust off my Cricut! I RARELY use it! I hear people sell theirs. I should. I could use the $$ to buy the PTI Spider Web Trio. I keep bumping them down on my wish list ~ too many new pretties.
The top one uses a Tremendous Tag stamped with a sentiment from Mr. Bones

This one is a download from Heather Nichols from last year. It is probably still available on Nichole's blog. The pretty orange/black damask is Teresa Collins.

This little cutie is Mr. Bones, Boutique Borders: Thanks. I LOVE that little frame!

The frame is like the tag above but the box is the ADORABLE Tiny Take Out Box!
CUTE!!!

I LOVE this one! The paper is Teresa Collins. The spiders are so cute for this box.

I posted the Hershey Bar favors last year. Just wanted to share them, again.

I will show Fall/Thanksgiving next. They will look a lot like these, but they will be too cute not to share.

I am so glad I bought the Tiny Take out box. I have already sold a lot of them. I have orders to fill and more of the spider paper on order.

Thank you for looking at my blog!
