Don't you LOVE Make It Monday, even if you don't participate? I don't always participate and I don't always want to use the technique, but Oh my word, there are a LOT of ideas out there to make fresh new cards. I LOVE that!
I do love this technique. I must say I am not sure I have ever stamped on patterned paper, before but I will sure be doing it more.
Blooming Button Bits Stamp set was one of the first ones I bought. It was because, of course, I saw Dawn McVey use it. I don't use it very often and I should. It is a VERY pretty set. It is just when we have all of the dies and Rosie Posie, well.... I took a piece of Distressed Dots Fine Linen (Have I told you how much I LOVE Fine Linen?? Sooooo pretty!), a 4x5 1/4" piece for a 4 1/4x5 1/2" white card stock base. I stamped the panel with Ripe Avocado ink. I found 3 buttons I liked and threaded them through the back (I liked it better). The ribbon is Fine Linen Saddle Stitch (Have I told you how much I LOVE Fine Linen?? Sooooo pretty!) ~ Sorry! The stamp is from the Thank You freebie at the Holidays. It is PERFECT for this technique, it is stamped in True Black.
I am going to make a set of these cards! I do wish I had that stamp Ashley used, though!
Thank you for looking at my blog!

ReplyDeletePretty card. I love that stamp on the dotted paper.
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the MIM technique. You combined some of my favorite paper and stamps! I hope to give this a try during the weekend. And I agree that fine linen is a great color.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great weekend!
Simple and perfect!
