MAKE IT MONDAY #267: ASSEMBLY LINE CARD-MAKING

IMG_3807

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and assembly line cards.

This was a timely challenge.
One of my dear friends ordered a dozen Thanksgiving cards.
I played catch-up all week after spending so much time getting ready for my sale.
So I finally made it to my craft room today...

I absolutely adore Autumn Adornments Stamp Set.
I use it any chance I get.

So it was a perfect choice.
The felt leaves and acorns were from my stash...
Made making 12 cards MUCH faster.

A dozen cards...all done while watching the Chiefs squeak out a win!!!

MAKE IT MONDAY #265: LAYERED DRY BRUSHING

MIM 265 Thanks So Much Card

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and layered dry brushing.

I have some old making  Memories paper paint. I think I bought it after watching Miss Ashley Cannon Newell make a card...YEARS ago,

So, that is what I used.

I didn't have a household paint brush handy, so I used my largest art brush.
I found it difficult to get as much paint off as Lizzie did.

I do like the results and it was pretty quick.
so, I made several panels.

I should get out all of the colors and make more panels.
Easier than stenciling...great texture.

I pulled a Diana K and made more than one card.
She is SUCH and overachiever!!!

MAKE IT MONDAY #264: DIE-CUT STENCIL SHAPES

Melissa

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and incorporate a background you created with stencils you made using die-cuts.

Finally had some time to make a card.
It has been BUSY around here, getting ready for my Mission sale on November 3

I used Inspired Jesus as my stencil and then used the inked die cut as an embellishment.

A rhinestone cross from my stash finished off the card.

I will post pictures this week of what I have made for my Holiday sale!

Post &Parcel

Post-&-Parcel-Kit

Such a fun kit.

A quick post to show close-ups of boxes I have made.

This first on I totally copied Betsy...SO CUTE!!!

A standard red one with embossing paste and kit embellishments.

A black one that I inked with Fresh Snow ink

This one I made to put a check in and give as a wedding gift.

MAKE IT MONDAY #263: BACKGROUND BUILDING WITH FRAMES

PTI-100416MIM-2

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and die-cut frames to build a background.

I had these Gold and white ovals from inside the Cover Plate: Scroll Frame.
Being the scrap hoarder I am, I saved them and wanted to make a card from them...

Here is what I came up with.

I added a Life is Beautiful butterfly.
And a Big Basics: Love You die cut.

Easy Peasy!
