What I have been doing...UPDATE

Starting tomorrow evening there is a Woman's conference at my church.
There are at least 1200 registered.
I was asked to make boxed cards with inspirational sentiments:

Thankful
Grateful
Blessed
Joy
Peace
Happy

Thankfully I am Blessed that Papertrey Ink has amazing dies and stamps that fit the request.

This is the table full of items I am taking to sell.

The bulk of the items have been made since the first of the year.

Hot Chocolate Folders and Chicken Noodle Soup folders made like Lexi showed on a MIM.
There are about 125 of those.

The boxed cards.
So on those...
I made about 400 cards with various embellishments and with the sentiments I listed above.
There are 20 boxes of 10 that the conference is buying to give to volunteers.
There are 39 boxes of 5 for sale.

Here is a box.
Lousy picture.
Still struggling with the focus on my camera...

More soup folders

I made about 125 Tiny Takeout and Pillow Boxes in both Valentine and Spring.

I also made 30+ Seed Packets that hold a Ghirardelli chocolate.

There are about 25 folder pouches that hold 2 Ghirardelli chocolates.

I am also taking all of the cards I have in stock for sale.
I have no idea how many...A LOT!!!

I also want to send out a BIG Thank You to my AWESOME friends who helped me in dozens of tasks that made all of this work possible.
Without their help. I could have never completed the number of items I have for sale!
Most of you know I donate all of the money to Water Charities in Africa for clean water projects!

So...I have not been participating in many MIM's or Blog Hops.
I am looking forward to the festivities for the upcoming PTI 9th Anniversary!

Thank you for looking at my blog!

MAKE IT MONDAY #237: MATCHBOOK VALENTINES

I have been making packaging  like this for years.
Mine are a bit different.
The fold on mine is at the top.
I punch 2 holes and tie ribbon instead of staples.
I am glad Lexi showed her version. It gives me new ideas outside my usual.

This one holds Hot Chocolate packages.

This one uses Cup a Soup chicken noodle soup packages!

I have made a ton of these to sell at a woman's conference at my church.
This money goes to my mission, A Cup of Cold Water.
It helps fund the cost of digging fresh water wells in Malawi, Africa.

Thank you fro looking at my blog!

What I have been doing...

It has been a LONG time.
Before Christmas I was busy making things for my annual, HUGE Christmas sale.
Then the boys and I went on a cruise for Christmas.
I didn't seem like Christmas, which was the point...
Since then I have been busy making cards for the Woman's Conference at my church.
I am making boxed sets for them.
The conference ordered 20 boxes of 10 cards for volunteers, so I started 200 cards in the hole.

I have those 200 cards made. Now I can concentrate on making as many cards as I can to sell to attendees.
I have enlisted some of my friends to help fold card bases, adhere front panels ,stamp my name on the back, help box up the cards...anything else I feel comfortable letting them help with...

Here is a group of the cards ...

The picture isn't very good. I have done something to my camera and the focus is off. Even Colin cannot figure it out. I am sure there is a knob or a dial...
Anyway...
I am pretty happy with these cards. They are VERY labor intensive, tho.

So 200 down and I hope 200-300 more...

So, that is what I have been keeping myself busy with.

I am a traditional Christmas girl...but I LOVE this picture and these colors!

Being the literal crafter that I am...

Greenery from Spruce and Sprigs. A new favorite!

My 'mantel" is Keep It Simple frame.

I used several circle dies and punches to cut my ornaments!

BEAUTIFUL inspiration photo!

MAKE IT MONDAY #232: LAYERED STAMPING ON KRAFT

DSC_7119.2

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and colors stamped over white ink on kraft card stock.

I finally finished my Match Boxes!!!
YAY!!!

I now have some time to make some cards.
I need to add a lot to my inventory!

Here is the first one I made this week.

I had never tried this technique!
I really liked it. I typically don't like to stamp on Kraft for the reasons Dawn said,
washed out or changed color

The white really helps and it adds dimension.
I LOVE the white shadowing.
It makes the card look less...flat!

MAKE IT MONDAY #231: MOTIF BUILDING

Motif-1

-Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a stamped motif using multiple images.

I have been SO BUSY making All Through the House boxes, this is the first card I have made in a couple of weeks!

I have made over 120 lighted boxes.
I have used every image from the kit I could use.
I only have about 50 unsold.
I sell them as fast as I can make them!
There will be a lot of money to donate for well digging!!!

As soon as I started editing this card, I realized I forgot a sentiment!

:(

EMBARRASSING and no time to fix tonight.
Its getting late...
I can add it later.

MAKE IT MONDAY #228: PEARLIZED BLENDING

MIM #228 Pearlized Blending Halloween Card

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and pearlized ink blending.

It is SO much fun to have your team in the World Series!!!!
It is also VERY time consuming!
Apologies to all Met's fans out there...I hope we finish this thing tonight!!!
I am VERY late getting a MIM card done

I do not have Perfect Pearls. I have some Pearl Ex I have had for years.
I chose one of the gold ones...should have chosen the pearl color.
My gold was a bit darker than I would have liked

I do though think for Christmas, the gold works well.
A pretty technique, I LOVE the shimmer.
A simple card.
I LOVE the sentiment from O Holy Night!
