Make it Monday #147: Multi-layer Images from a Single Stamp

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and mulit-layered images from a simple stamp..

So this week I have been recovering from the flu and had to get my house un-decorated from Christmas. BUSY!
Sooooo. I took the easy route on this challenge. I used the stamp set Betsy show-cased!

Aqua Mist card stock & pattern pack. I used Notched Banner star die and the star from Tremendous Tags. The sentiment is from Stylish Sentiments: Birthday, I just inked the small part from the Yay! I used Summer Sunrise for the star that was cut with the Seeing Stars die. I also used Hibiscus Burst ink. I had an enamel dot that is a perfect Aqua Mist color for the hole on the tag!

I fun challenge. I wish I shared Betsy's love for fussy cutting! I am for sure a die Gal!!!

A published article about my mission

Back in November, after the card party my friend Jenny Gunter held for me, I was approached by a local community magazine,

I have been blessed to have a story written about the mission funds I raise for fresh water wells in Malawi, Africa. They did a FABULOUS job of telling the story of what I do and why I do it.

If you click on the link above and go to pages 48-49, you can read the article.
I am truly humbled by this amazing opportunity that might bring more attention to the need for water projects in Africa.

If you have an opportunity PLEASE donate to this worthy cause. Read what Chris Hamera, the intern who is from Malawi, says about the water in his native country. He is an inspiring young man who is bursting at the seams with love for his country and for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

This is a PRECIOUS picture of Chris. I am BLESSED beyond belief to have met him and to be able to provide funds to give his fellow villagers access to fresh water!

Card Party Pictures

A DEAR friend of mine is hosting a party to help me sell my cards and favors. This sale will help me raise funds for Missions at my church. My funds are ear-marked to dig Bore Hole water Wells in Malawi, Africa.
She wanted a picture that represents cards that I have for sale. The pictures were not taken in my light box so the lighting isn't ideal.

A lot of these cards I made to challenges for a PTI Blog Hop.

Here are a few Gift Card folders. A gift card fits perfectly as does cash or a check.

I so appreciate my friend Jenny for hosting this party for me. She has always been supportive of my little mission effort. She is MUCH LOVED!!!

Christmas Favors

We really have about 6 1/2 weeks until Christmas!
WOW
That is going to sneak up on all of us, FAST!

I have been busy as a beaver making my favors for the holidays.
This post will be Tiny Take Out boxes.
The first one is for Fall.

I LOVE this MME Lush Houndstooth paper. It is so cute. And, perfect for the fall.
The felt leaves I got at Hobby Lobby but I found some at Dollar Tree, too!

This one uses a felt Poinsettia from Michael's.

This embossed paper I got at Tuesday Morning, 25/$1.99!!!
The holly is Holly Berry die from PTI

I LOVE the simplicity of the red bow on both of the next 2.

Peaceful Poinsettia! That and glitter makes me smile!

Fancy Flakes all glittered up!

This is paper from Tuesday Morning as well.

I have more to share!

It is time to put Halloween away and start on Christmas decorating!
