I have done this technique before, just not as background paper. I loved doing it.
I make a LOT of cards for my mission, so it is time consuming for me to make my own background paper. It is good to be challenged to do it.
I thought it might be fun.
I chose the wedding image.
I was going to use Sweet Blush to ink but I was afraid if I made it color specific, it might not sell.
I used Fine Linen ink.
I also have "lost" the clapper to my Enclosed bell...it's somewhere...
One a brighter note...I have a pair of Jayhawk earrings that might be 20 years old...seriously!
I paid $7.99 for them. They are a PRIZED possession.
They are my good luck charms.
I wear them EVERY DAY from first tip in November till last buzzer in...
HOPEFULLY April!!!
I lost one on Saturday. I was devastated. I knew it was in the house because I didn't leave after I put them on...
I went out and bought a new pair today, but you DO NOT bust out new earrings during the NCAA tournament. Well, I found it!!!
YAY!!!
I am so relieved. It is a heavy burden to carry...those earrings!
Thank you for looking at my blog!
Susan
YAY! So glad you found the earring. I remember when you bought them. Rock Chalk!
ReplyDeleteAnd, very pretty card.
Love this elegant wedding cafrd, Suze. Gorgeous classic colours and such a good idea to use the music staff from Songbirds. Sorry I haven't been looking much. After the February anniversary challenges, I promised my husband I'd spend more time with him :) I haven't been making cards or doing much blog hopping. :(
