PAPERTREY INK MAKE IT MONDAY #320: SPOT COLOR WORD DIECUTS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include spot coloring with word die cuts.

Betsy's card is amazing...mine...

I do not own a single Copic marker, so I do not purchase stamps that need to be colored. So I am limited to images that have a line image and a solid stamp to add color.

I almost always go to Vintage Linen, my all time favorite floral.

It is kind of hard to read...I used  Counting My Blessings Die to cut the word, blessed.

MAKE IT MONDAY #319: GRAFFITI WORD ART

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include graffiti word art.

Lexi has the best techniques.
I just loved this one!

I used the Happy from Tipped Tops.
Also Balloon Bash.

I also used Melissa's  Embossing Enamel Splatter technique.
This time I used some dots of embossing ink to hold the powder down.
It worked SO much better.

I LOVE it when Lexi does the MIM's
This was a good one!

MAKE IT MONDAY #317: USING OUTLINE IMAGES

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include using outline images to accent your project.

I liked this technique way more that I thought I would. I LOVE color, so I thought the white space would bother me. But the images I chose filled it in more that I planned...

I used the blooms from Warm Regards...my current obsession!
I played around with leaves and they were all more harsh than I liked so I used
the bloom cluster from Floral Sketches. I LOVE that cluster. I use it a lot to fill in space.

I also love the sentiments from Penned Elegance!
So pretty.

I have a new "rule" when I am working.
If I make a card I like, I force myself to make at least 8-10.
I would love to get ahead on my inventory so I am not making so many cards in a big rush!
I made 9 of this one!

I LOVE this technique! Thank you Lizzie. Seems like a simple idea I should have known about!
So glad to add it to my arsenal!

I also love Lizzie's Warm Regards. This was the first time I had a chance to use it.
It won't be the last

I used Dawn's Hexagon stencil, the small one.

I am so happy with this card. I will be using this technique again!

MAKE IT MONDAY #315: EMBOSSING ENAMEL SPLATTERS

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and include embossing enamel (or embossing powder) splotches & splatters.

I had another short trip last week so time is limited.
Burning up nervous energy before KU/Duke game this afternoon...

I need practice but the splatters are a fun tecnnique///
lost a lot of the chunks while heating it...

If you are going to do a Melissa technique, you should use ribbon, right?

OK! Wish us luck!!!

CREATE ALONG WITH US: MARCH 2018

Create a project utilizing inspiration you’ve seen during release week. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product.

Can you believe it!!!
I made a challenge card!!!

I just went through one of the busiest seasons of my life!

I had 3 huge sales since November
and sold almost everything I made for all 3!
I have made between 1,400-1,500 cards since last September.
I give 100% of the glory to God! I KNOW it was with the help of the Holy Spirit.
HIS supernatural powers. In that time I also took 3 trips, 2 to DC. One the week before my last sale!!!
God is GOOD!!!

Last year was the biggest donation I have ever made for my water mission. Enough to dig 2 wells!!!
It was a lot of work, but well worth it!

So I am taking some time off from mass production. I am hoping to get back into the swing of weekly challenges and cleaning up a bit!

I loved this Laurie Schmidlin card.
SO pretty!

My pictures are a bit dark. I have changed work spaces and I will need to experiment where the best place is to take pictures. This one is not it!

I used Mix & Mat, Songbird leaf branch and Pencil Blooms dies.

I haven't moved my heat embossing tools so I just used black StazOn ink.
I loved Laurie's touch of gold, I'll try that another time.

It feels SO good to make a challenge card! I LOVE stretching myself and making things that are more complicated and to be honest, more fun!
