3 year old Get Well

I made a quick Get Well card for my 3 year old Great Nephew.
He had to have his appendix removed.
He rode in an ambulance so I thought the image from Special Delivery would make him smile!
Poor thing. My oldest had 2 surgeries by the time he was 3. I know stressful it is!

I should cut out a second ambulance so he can play with it...

Make It Monday #171: Pop Up Die Cuts ~ Card 4

53

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and popped up die cuts.

I needed to do one more card for the challenge.

Garden Grace!!! I LOVE Garden Grace... and Berry Sorbet!

Another Camera malfunction (or maybe it was the operator!)
Poorly centered photo...

Make It Monday #171: Pop Up Die Cuts ~ Card 3

-Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and popped up die cuts.

I said I was going to make a card using Life is Beautiful, and I did!
I am still sticking to my story that the design team should not be allowed to use it, EVER, for a MIM!!!
I really did try and resist but... I couldn't!

And of course I HAD to use Berry Sorbet!
PRETTY butterfly.

I decided to adhere a bitty dot cut to the card.
I was wondering if it would add to the idea of the partial die cut?

What do you think? Does it detract? I kind of like how it fills in the center, and...
If you don't get your cut as even as you like, it covers it ;)

Have you made a card yet with Life is Beautiful that didn't make you sigh?
Seriously one of the BEST sets Nichole has designed!

Make It Monday #171: Pop Up Die Cuts ~ Card 1

53

Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and popped up die cuts.

First of all I want to say that I think NO design team member should EVER be allowed to use Life is Beautiful on a MIM!!!
SERIOUSLY! If you have Life is Beautiful, did you not want to use it???
But NO, I don't want to copy Betsy's amazing card. I MUST find another suitable die!
REALLY!!!! I WANT TO USE LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!
After I got up off the floor from my tantrum...

I had to come up with something different.
I am also quite smitten with Delicate Details.

This worked pretty well. I did need to make it landscape, not my favorite orientation!

I have another one to post but I WILL be making one with Life is Beautiful!
I HAVE to!!!

Monthly Moments: June Journal Card, Cards

Monthly Moments: June Journal Card Paper Collection

Last month I bought this paper pack. I thought it had a lot of great images for quick summer cards.
It is really cute paper. Some of it lends itself better than others.
It is rather pricey, for me, because I sell all my cards and donate the money. But still, I will have a nice pile of Quick cards.

First of all, the pictures are not good. I did not use my light box. I have trouble getting this many cards lined up in my box.
It was on the counter in the kitchen in my basement. Rather dark.

But you can still get an idea of what I did.

The rainbow card was based on one Laurie Willison made for the release.
It is the main reason I bought the pack!

I LOVED using Wet Paint Cuts! They are the PERFECT size!

I just love the yellows and oranges.
Dawns Thank You Kindly

I have no idea why the red is so dark on the Lovely Layers one.
It is Pure Poppy!

Make It Monday #169: Vellum Overlays ~ Card 2

11

--Create a project utilizing your take on the challenge. Your project must use at least one Papertrey product and a vellum overlay.

I had time today to make a 2nd card the the MIM
I recently made a card in a style I loved, so I re-configured it to the requirements of the MIM.

I used 2 surprising elements. Life is Beautiful (still on my work space!) and a Berry Sorbet color palette!
I cannot get enough of either...

But why not? Both are so pretty.
The vellum did not take the ink evenly, but I like that softer feel.
And, I have used the Hello from Phrase Play #3 more than the entire die.

Just trying to keep up with the Jones's!!! HeeHee!
