2014 PTI Anniversary Word Challenge ~ Card 1

Grab your favorite word die, alphabet dies or alphabet stamps and make a project that has a *word* for the focal point.

I finally got to use my new Framed Friends die! I probably will trim it out more often than not but I got home late so I used it as is.
I REALLY like it. It made a SUPER simple card.
I just used strip of Spring Rain Pattern pack on the top and bottom. A strip of Spring Rain card stock for the sentiment, from Wonderful Words: Friends.
Pretty & EASY!

2014 PTI Anniversary Birthday Card

2014 PTI Anniversary Birthday Card

As you can see, many of the projects today were all about birthdays!  Now it's your turn!  Take some of the inspiration you have gained so far this week and create a birthday card for Papertrey!  We would love to see both your card and a photo of you holding your card!  Not only would this give you TWO entries for one card, but these photos will also be combined with Papertrey stories shared in the comments section to create a special slideshow at the end of the celebration!

FUN!!! Nichole thinks of the BEST ideas. I should send a Thank You note every month to the warehouse. Julie and the rest of the team are the BEST!!!

I had fun making this card. I used the new Polka Dot Parade #12 stamp and die. Raspberry Fizz card stock and pattern pack and Summer Sunrise made up the candles. The Happy is from Tipped Tops and a couple of hearts finish it off. 7 candles for 7 years!
Thank you Papertrey Ink! You are THE best paper craft company, bar NONE!

Happy Birthday!

Lastly! Another quickie from the Freebie download. Those images are PERFECT for this project!

FINISHED!

Again, I can add this to a card front for a masculine Valentines card. I might just send it to Colin!

I do not scrapbook with Project Life or a similar product. I have never made ATC cards.
I did buy a 7 Gypsies Library Tray and filled it with 6x7" pages that I made into a Scrapbook Tray. I LOVE it. It was fun, quick and different!
I REALLY enjoyed making this little card. I wont use it for scrap booking, I will put it on a card. But... it was fun, quick and different. I can see making these when I am in a rut to shake things up a bit!
